track wheels

hey guys, I'm looking for a good set of cheap wheels 16or 17" for track days for my s13w/ 5 lug and z32 brakes I have searched and was going to just use some z32 rims but I am worried about coilover clearance and I try to stay away from spacers if I can so if anyone had any suggestions it would help thanks.

"competition"

or

"weapon"

wheels,

17 x 9 offset 17

around $140 each

about the same price as those R33 GT-R replica 17 x 9 +30 's and should be lighter.

For the track/AutoX just get some steels or cheap SE wheels from a junkyard, clean them up and spend the bulk of the money on some Azenis.

using stocks is good for learning but eventually you will want some wider tires and a wider wheel.

You can see how far along I am. I didn't even think about that. I'm still learning...give me time. I ran with some wider/thicker tires on my 4th autocross and they really did make a difference in the feel of the car. 245/45/17's all around...had to take the fronts off because they were rubbing against my struts...ouch!!! It wasn't a really good brand of tire but you could feel that extra meat.
