Question quick help about offset ... 18x10 J+0 and 18x12 +13

hey wassup fellas , i'm really close to about purchasing a set of wheels for my 1995 s14 . i saw a set of wheels that I like and I've tried using the offset calculator and using the millimeter conversion tables and did searches to see if anyone else is running a similar offset but didnt get a solid answer ....

can you guys help me out and tell me how would these wheels fit on my S14 ?

Work VS-XX
18x10 J+0 and 18x12 +13

if it matters , i'm running stock brakes and Cusco ZERO-2R coilovers and have Cusco RUCAS and other Cusco components on the car .

thanks

they wont fit on stock fenders. front will need a nice pull, and rear wil need overfenders or flares. go for it!

These are the ones selling on Ebay? They are so ****ing hot man. Billy Boi you need to get these ASAP. I drooled for like 10 ****ing minutes looking at these last night....

your best bet is to upgrade to aftermarket fenders FRP. You can also do a pull/flare but it will need to be pretty extreme to fit 10J up front.

GET THEM!!!! I <3 those wheels

you could get by with 30mm overfenders in the front and 50mm in the rear

Cool Merge :Will they work and what tire size for 18x10 J+0 and 18x12 +13 ?

wassup fellas again . thanks to club240 and input from other forums , i went ahead and just purchased a set of wheels that I have been trying to research and see if it fits . I've always liked WORKS and wanted to get VSXX or Meisters S13P for my SUbaru but it wouldnt look as nice as they would on 240s .

so I got a chance to get some WORK wheels and I was planning to get some WORK Equips but fell in love with the VS-XX .

the size i went with is

Work VS-XX
18x10 J+0 and 18x12 +13

and i plan to run 30mm fenders on the front and either 30mm or 50mm over fenders on the rear depending which would fit better .

here are the pics of the wheels , i should be getting them in about a week .

Name: vs-xx.jpg
Views: 126
Size: 29.5 KB

and they will be going on this car

and now I need some input and opinions on another question ...

what size tires should I run ?

the car is making a little over 300 whp at the moment but I would like to get close to like 380whp .

I do plan to use the car to drift . ( try to learn ) so not sure if that matters on tire selection and might go with either Bridgestones or Dunlops .

so I need your input fellas about what size tires and which model Bridgestones or Dunlops ? I think with Dunlops , I would be going with Direzzas ?

thanks

run a stetch...you do not want to much tire on there or it will have a negative affect on handling. Get the steam roller affect and will lack in agility. Backs are going to be around 295. Front should be about a 255. You are going to have a hell of a time trying to drift that much meat, especially with 300whp. Get something sticky for the front. The direzzas are fine. For the rear, if you are lucky enough the have a used tire dealer with tires of this size in stock, go that way. The old tires will be harder with less grip and cost less. Put something new and sticky on the back and it will make things harder for drifting and your wallet

can we have this topic closed or merged? i no longer moderate this forum after the wheel/suspension split. you just made a topic a week or so back on a similar subject, just post your question there next time

Yeah WTF I saw this car at D1GP. It started off Primer and ended up covered in stickers!!!. But seriously those wheels are dope as hell Billy Boi, can't wait to see them on the car. I plan on getting a similar sized set in the future.

What meets will you be attending? There is one every thursday in Linden (aviation plaze). Its okay but not too many 240's. Were do you normally kick it at?
