anybody have starion rims?

hey guys, i have a set of starion rims gathering dust in my place. fronts are 16x8 +18 back are 16x8 -10. i've been dying to put these on, but having 300zx 30mm brakes up front is preventing me to do so. i know that a 10mm spacer would work on q45 brakes, pretty much the only info ive found out doing research. does anybody have these rims on with 300zx brakes? if so what kind of spacers should i use. kinda want to keep it cuz i spent my time restoring these. thanks for any help.

put on the caliper and then the wheel..use washers to space it enough and measure how many mm of washer u used and order the spacers

starion wheels with z brakes? not going to work. the 8" +18 don't even clear factory front brakes, and the 8" -10 barely do. you will need at least 20mm spacers i bet which isn't very kosher.

if u get some 20mm overfenders for the front you could easily run an 8j -30 offset

if u really want to use those wheels

thanks for the heads up on a way to measure for spacers, never would have thought about that. yeah i've been thinking about time and time again about running spacers over 10mm. before the z brakes i had q45s, bought 50mm extended studs and 10mm spacers. i was trying to go with that set up, but ended up buying the z's in the junkyard. dunno i might just end up selling them fawkers n get a new set of rims. thanks again!

starion wheels fetch a pretty penny these days so i bet you will make some $ if you turn around and sell them. especially if you refinished them
