Overated?!? Granted there is a bit of hype but keep in mind that he is still in freakin' high school for Christ sake and competes at the proffessional level in both Formula D and D1. What where you doing at that age?
He was on his game yesterday until some car trouble during the final 4 caused him to drive noticeably conservative the rest of the time. I wonder what happened. Not to take away from Alex Pfeifer though, he can certainly rock that S2000.

And you?
Granted he probably drives better than you and I combined on a good day, but he's never made the cut at D1 (where you have to earn a license, therefore IMO that's higher tier competition) - Ernie Fixmer beat him to that back in Team Rotora days. If you think about it all of the hype and popularity of Ken Gushi is because everyone pays attention to the fact that he's in high school, where most people who follow drifting and auto competition in general who are in high school do not possess the skills Ken has. Not that many people pay attention to the extra part, about how his dad would take him out to the desert when he was young to practice practice practice. Hell if your dad did that with you at that age, would that make you a "prodigy"? or just someone who started earlier than everyone else?
Bah, enough about that. Anyways, It's kind of odd that they put on an event on a weekday, which might have limited the crowd since for the most part it's a work/school day. Then again it was DD last weekend, so who knows.
Come out on Tuesdays in Walnut bro, we could have long debates about this one
