rb20det issues

Rb20det installed and running extremely well. I just aquired the vehicle. It seems to cut off at 10 psi or just under .67 bar. Brapbrap brap some popping, but if I only use maybe .25throttle and keep it under the 10psi I can rev cleanly up past 6k, it just takes a little longer. I have done some searching and really havent come up with anything solid. It reminds me alot of a T2 I had that at 15psi would hit boost cut w/the fcd in it. Ignition breakup is one possibilty, also some sort of ignition cut, but I am really new to all of this, and there isn't really anybody in town that is very well familiarized with these set-ups. The previous owner really didn't have a good answer, but told me "compressor surge" I don't think so...but who knows....thanks for any input. I really cant complain too much, it does run well. Lots of extras. Current tune w/safc2 has around 11-11.5 afrs, and FMIC, and full 3''. Stock 270's and rb20 MAF. walbro 255. I DO need to throw in new plugs w/ .028 gap. Current plugs are very clean with gap of .044. I think they just threw in a set. Thanks

bro i would consider upgrading your injector. those 270s are almost already new full duty cycle before you up the boost.
