MAF or MAP in sr20?

that sounds like a really good idea
but do you think that air coming back from the throttle body would mess up the reading at all?

isnt it before the bov(closer to the turbo) usually though, so that the air would be purged before coming back thru the sensor
maybe im just not seeing this right?

The MAF is mounted right behing the filter and the bov right infront of the intercooler, set up to recirculate the air in a stock set up. So if any air did come out of the engine it would still have to pass by the MAF, but if air ever came back out of the intake manifold on a turbo car it would suprise the hell outta me. BTW yes a blow through system works very well I've seen many of them installed on turbo KA's on the net and have no prblems at all. I even think some Nissan racing GTR's rum blow through seet ups with a stock MAF.

alrite, i think i got it now
this is really good to hear, i really wanted to vent to atmosphere, but was a little worried. thanks for explainin it

im a bit too excited over this
i need to make another 3k still
hopefully by summer.....
