KA24e intake manifold

I found a shop in so cal. that will fab me up an intake manifold for my kaet but I wanted to know what you guys thought of it. Someone told me that intake manifolds were for high end power only and the torque drops off, and I don't really want that since I go to drifting events and need torque. Is what I heard true? In the forums opinion will it be worth it? or should I stick with my bored out manifold? The company who is willing to do it is DRAG.

Depends on how they'll do it. .

most short intake mani's like on civic's and such allow for high end but will kill some low end. One of the reasons the KA has such good low end torque is due to the intake mani. Most people don't upgrade their intake mani until they have most other things done. .

I'd stick with yours for your application of drifting.
