I don't claim to be a pro drifter(I have track time in a evo VIII and used to own a 92 soarer) because I haven't driven my car since I put the nismo 2 -way in there but I know technics and how the car drove with the ka.

I'm not bashing ka's but the sohc was not a good engine to drift with, a good engine to learn basic car technics yes. It would have made no since to get a dohc, swap it in, fortify the engine, get a turbo kit, etc. when I could get a sr20 and do it right.

People like to be different but look at the the formula d, and d1 cars that use the sr20(or the tomei enhanced sr22) Many teams say its there favorite engine, hell falken put one in a rx-7!

What is with all the bumping of year or more old threads? I mean, I'm glad you guys are searching and all but its getting a wee bit out of hand lol. As for the kit, it would probably be better/cheaper to piece together your own....thats just my opinion though.
