Okay...so I got some more info on this turbo. The turbo is a Garret T28. T3 wheel trim. Compressor Specs: The inducer diameter is 1.83"/46.5mm. Exducer diameter 2.37"/60mm. TB03 housing. 448CFM max flow. T25 wheel with a 62 trim. Turbine Specs: Exducer Diameter is 1.64"/41.7mm. Inducer Diameter is 2.09"/53mm. T25 housing and flange. Dual ball bearing w/internal wastegate. Max efficiency @ 78% for 2PR at 29psi.
Bottom line is, will this bolt on? If so, I will get together a group buy.

so its not a gt28rs. unless its a stock t25 or t28 its not a direct bolt on. it may fit the manifold but it probably wont fit the turbo outlet and the turbo line treading might be different so unless you have all the tools at your disposal it can be a pain in the ***. If it was a gt28rs i would have been down for a group buy.

1.) If you (Turboed240) are a business, do not post up those prices. This causes alot of people claiming that they can get it from somewhere cheaper than they really can't, as it is a special deal. if you are not a business, then you do not have distributor prices, but dealer prices. They guy selling the turbo to you may be a distributor, and is selling them to you under GB status.
2.) If it is a just a Garrett T28, then I think those are excellent prices. But based off the specs you gave, it is not a regular T28, but a GT28R turbo. Dual ball bearing with internal wastegate. And if I were going to spend $700+ on a turbo, I sure would not want one that would only flow up to 300hp. Getting power from a turbo car is easy, unless you get too small of a turbo. That GT28R, according to Precision, pushes 300hp (~260whp), not even enough to get you into the 12's.
If you want to make respectable power, between 300whp and 400whp (notice the difference between whp and hp, whp =power on the ground, hp=power at crank), then I suggest the SC50, 76 trim, .63 A/R, . It will flow up to 450hp.
Or if you want the most common, a Garrett T3/T04E. I have seen them as low as $549, and they flow upwards of 450hp.
