(about 750 miles on the engine) i had a total rebuild. cp forged pistons (bored to 89.5) crower rods, cometic 3 layer metal head gasket, arp head bolts, brand new head and very thing in it (port and polish), had compresion ratio brought to a 9.0, new timing kit, new oil pump, all new vacuum lines, all engine parts balanced, walbro 255 fuel pump, clutch master 6 puck clutch, fidnanza racing flywheel, high flow cat, dnx exhaust, racing pulley, 75 digital shot nitrous (at the pedal) nx stage 2 kit with heater. msd ignition system, 2 coil, nology hot wires, drilled and sloted rotors, and a lot of things i cant keep because of the turbo going on now. my weak link is going to be the stock internals on the head (even though they are new) or the tranny, i still have to rebuild it(about 140,000 mile on the tranny), but there is nothing wrong with it(yet). but thats the performance side of it. what kind of hp do you think i can get with that set up with the turbo kit and nitrous? with the safc2 and a cobra maf, and 550 injectors

i couldn't tell you, really, it's a very wide range. all i'm saying is be careful. that sounds like a very nice setup. so what if you blow the head, pull it out, thats easy, my friend that blew his rings, now has almost 2000 in the head alone. thats the right thing to do for his goal. i would say at best, maybe you'll make 450 or so, but i say just test and tune!

i decided to let ride revolution in johnson city do all the work. i got the price quote, and he told me for everything it would be $800-$900, but i told him i would take off the bumper and install the intercooler,and cut the bumper, so it will be a little cheaper than that. i plan on getting (cant spell to well) fearra valves and titanium retainers and springs. ill try not to go to crazy with the hp untill i upgrade them. thanks
