So do the problems I described in the other thread, "HELP! Burning oil & rough idle at start" seem likely to be fixed if I were to have the turbo rebuilt?

yea the seals in the turbo are prolly blown causing oil to get in the exhaust and burning oil. my friend blew his turbo on his turbo civic hatch when his oil return line pinched and clogged up the turbo blew all the seals and started burning oil out the exhaust. yea that could definately be the problem. good luck

now i know we all feel the same about civics because of what we've seen done to them but turbo is not RICE. give him some credit for doing a real man's mod.
