I read somewhere(forgot tho) that the ca was engineered more like the vg, at least in the head. Something about the secondary runners on the intake manifold or something to that effect, could be wrong so correct me if i am...just my half remembered 2 cents

Where would be a good place to get a ca18 (I'm new to nissans last on I had befor this was an '82 280zx na). I never had heard of it until I read a little about it on this board. Preferably in the south east.

maybe im wrong but...

To the guy that said the SR had an aluminum block...arent you half right...the block itself is aluminum BUT it has steel sleevs, or at least thats the people at heavy throttle say.

true it does have VERY skinny Steel sleves. they usually need to be resleved as soon as you put about 350 hp to the ground

Still not as stong as the CA which need sleving only at MADD Hp

umm i bought that sr swap dvd..its not that great, doesnt really SHOW you as he's bolting down the engine, and stuff. Its mainly a diary of his problems when it came down to wireing, and it didnt really show how he fixed it!.. its not worth it.
