best engine management

what do you guys use for your kat's? i was thinking about the greddy emanage....i hear bad things about safc so what else is there?

AEM EMS just came out and would be one of the best things for engine managment. Itd blow the emanage and safc out of the water due to it's fully plug-and-play standalone functionality.

i am still trying to learn about all the electronic components needed for a turbo.. can you explain what kind of hook up is needed as far as sensors and stuff like that with the product you mentioned?

Prob a broadband to do the hardcore tuning. The EMS uses all your stock sensors though.

Broadband?? You probably just had a brainfart. I think you mean wideband o2. Is this a sohc or dohc and what year engine?

so if i get the ems i can control injectors, fuel flow and whatever else i need for fuel management just by "plugging and playing"

not to thread jack, but ive never seen these systems up close, how hard are they to tune? do you really need to know your stuff to do it?

Standalones can be very complicated. You deff need to know what you are doing.

I could find a Unichip dealer out your way. They are cheaper than the AEM and other standalones. but they use your stock ECU. You should really not try to tune if you have no idea what you are doing.
