thanks in advance !
a T25 will run out of its "perfect" running conditions. since at about those speeds it is inefficent and doing more harm that good. but a larger turbo...say the T04 will be getting ready to be in that "perfect" range.

well when i had my t25 in mine and i was at the track you are right it does spool up fast in 2nd gear coming out of a turn, im not saying it doesnt. but when i got my t04e with a 60 trim it spooled up alot faster then the t25 did when i came out of the turns. So i am sorry if what i was saying didnt make any sence but that is what i was trying to say. Me personally i like a bigger turbo because it takes alot of stress off the engine and you still have the low end power like you do with the t25 and you gain the top end power

I would have to disagree. Who lets their RPM's fall below 2500 on an autox course? And just about any suitable turbo can be spect to be spooled by 3000rpm (T3, T3/4, some T4's) - negating the only possible benefit of a restrictive mini-turbo.

Now ya see, I just made myself do a double post. I wrote this whole big reply and had to re-think this.

I still stand by the fact that a T25 will work with the KA. And not just up to 4K either as I think Justin mentioned. To clarify for the ppl who didn't understand my previous post, the main argument here is how well the T25 flows, at what RPM it is good for, how well it mates up to a KA vs. SR. Well what I was implying with the "High Speed Highway Use" was racing say a C5 Vette or the like. Which is why I stated in parenthesis that I didn't condone it. (Gotta put that discllaimer in there ). Now for everyone who says the T25 simply will not flow enough for the KA, I say thats not true. I know someone personally who has the T25 (I believe I mentioned this on this thread) from a Volvo. Yes he uses his car for AutoXing, but it is also his daily driver. The point being, if you simply run 6lbs. of boost or so, the T25 will be fine and won't choke up on you at all. You'll get every 6500RPM's or so out of the KA with that turbo. Obviously trying to run more then 6lbs. or whatever the max. boost is with a T25 on a KA will make it quite useless.

Your right Justin, I stand corrected.
