no, cuz no one else is that stupid

jk, i think that's awesome that you're doing that. what made you choose that over the SR20? i wanted to turbo my ka24de but its just too expense. the sr20 is much cheaper.

hey man, i'm not trying to **** you off or insult what you are doing. i already said i think its cool. for me, the sr20 will be cheaper but i actually would prefer what you are doing. when i said "not worth it", i meant the nsport kit + ecu upgrade (already $4800 at only 6 or 7 psi). when you're doing the sr20 swap, you dont necessarily need all of those things, either. I'm looking at 3 grand for the swap/clutch/flywheel. yeah it will be stock, but it'll be faster than what i have now. and it'll be ready for tuning when i get more money.

i'm not an advocate of boostin MY ka. but when i see others boostin and layin down power i can't help but get the power bug.
if you take precautions and strengthen that engine. you'll kill some things out there.

thin about it. almost a half liter of displacement and torque to burn. we all know the KA wont rev to honda status but the mid range with boost will be enough to propel yo ***.
back to the future flames and ****

maybe i'm just reading your posts wrong. if i am then disregard the following.

stop being a ****ing ***. i'm cool with what you're doing. is it too much to ask for you to keep your mouth shut about what i'm planning on doing?

the SR20 is a popular enough swap that you can get parts here in the US.

one counter point might be that the FMax Stage II kit has gotten one fairly legendary 240sx beyond 330rwhp on a fairly stock S14. The cost is only a bit more, IIRC.

Another counter point might be that at 7 psi, the KA will be making around as much power as the stock SR.

i've heard of guys killin it in KA-T's.
but with a stage two kit all you;ll get on a stock bottom end is as much as a stock SR.
now don't get me wrong i'm not knockin the KA. it's just our KA needs a little coaxing to really make #'s
it can, look at this guy's
he's doin it
