volk racing gtc

I own a set of Volk GTC wheels. They are 18*10 +37 and 18*9 +42. The problem is that I drive an S14 and the front wheels hit the suspension. Since they are two piece wheels, I was wondering if I could buy another face that would have a different offset so that I could use the wheels on the front of my car. Please let me know if I can do this. Also, is it possible to convert from a face 1 setup to a face two? I really like how the rears fit cause they are flush and the fender just needs to be rolled a little bit. PLEASE HELP

Thank you
Rovin

Just throw some suitable wheel spacers on the front.

You have the wrong offset there buddy. Two guys here will most lkikely flame you for having such high of an offset on an S14. What I recommend you do is either get spacers, or get a different face to attain a much lower offset on both fronts and rears.

i didnt know that they sold different faces that would change the offset. Could someone verify this for me and also, what size offset should i run and do I need extended studs for it?

Did you buy those used? those sound like Supra offsets or somethin. I have GTC's face 2 18x9 with a +38 offset, and they hiit up front. Your gonna need a huge spacer and some extended wheel studs more than likely.

i did some searching and got the wheels to work with 20mm spacers up front and nothin in the rear. Surprisingly, the front doesnt stick out and the back is a little out. I will roll my rear fender to lower it.

My question is however, can I run full coilovers? The front wheel has about a quarter of an inch clearance to the shock body.

As I understand, the perch on the coilover kits sit lower making it come below the tire. I dont know if I will have enough space to do so.

Please let me know as I do not want to buy some and dont work and I really dont want to buy springs.

so in the front you are running a +20 spacer with a rim of +42 right. and in the rear you are running a +37 no spacer...things to do.

1) no coilovers will not clear front. you need at least +20mm offset all together, or less.

2) throw the +20 spacer on the rear and
3) find a +25 spacer some where for the front.

Thanks barrigaS14. How safe is it to run that large of a spacer in the front with extended studs. If there is little danger involved, then I will go and buy new spacers.

Thanks again

go here...and fast...they just got them in and it takes about 3 months to get again if they sell out.

https://www.optauto.com/index.htm?pa...7&deptid=12539

these bolt to the hub and have new studs in them. i ordered two sets already. you might want to find a 25mm one though. only problem is i don't know who makes them (25mm).
