Question Stock 240sx or stock 300zx Brakes?

Which brakes would perform better? To me the 300zx's calipers look better than the 240sx.

Alot of people swap out the 240sx brakes in favor of the bigger 300zx brakes

moved to "Brakes/Wheels/Tires/Suspension" forums

Depends on what you're doing.... Care to elaborate your intentions for them?

Hmm.. Everyday driving on the street. You will NEVER notice a difference between the stock brakes over the Z32 brakes.

I thought you were still looking for an S14. BTW, don't buy brakes just cause they look better. get them becasue they'll stop you dead in your tracks. But yeah, any other brakes would work better than the single piston sliding caliper the 240SX has. I beleive can also swap in brakes from an Infinity. I forgot what car, Q45?

ooooh you just got tagged:

use the SEARCH function, there's a lot of threads on the swap with all the info you need.

jboo if you're buying 3Z brakes because "they look cool" and you're only going to daily drive, just give me the $$ in stead and I'll take a nissan sticker and stick it to your stocks, because it's the same thing - unless you need them or you're HIN crowd, you're better off spending that $$ on other things.
