redrilled rims safe?

hey guys, well i was looking at some rims from takumi project, ebay and what not. came across some 5X114.3 redrilled to 4 x 114.3. now im sure some of us here has some rims redrilled or used some. are they safe? people from other forums have varying opinions but i want to here what you guys have to say about it *cough, raine, vinnie?*. i'd be using them for daily driving so they wont see any high stress really.

no pic as the ones online all have centercaps covering the bolt holes but id imagine itll look like this. rotated the holes in photoshop 72 degrees for 5 lug (pink) and 90 for the 4 (black). tho the actual diameter of the holes are larger so the pink and black should overlay in 2 out of 5 holes

Well i wanted to see a pic so i could see if the holes are to close together.

In most cases its okay to run redrilled wheel as long as it was done professionally.

If the holes are to close then you will have issues with the integrity of the mounting hub.
