Ok im ready to get flamed cuz this is a newb question. I know everyones gonna say just get coilovers and cut springs are garbage, but I got the set of shocks for 250 and the springs free so I had to. Anyways I installed my new kyb agx and sprint springs. The front were cut half a coil and made it difficult for the spring to sit on the strut perch cuz it was so short that there was no need to compress the spring onto the strut. Everytime I come to a stop, or back up I here a poping noise from the suspension area. Could cutting the spring half a coil be the problem? Should I just cut it another half so It would sit properly.
