Moral of this thread. Research before you buy. Every company started as nothing. If you going to buy a product that is just released, wait a bit so you can get the model that has all the bugs worked out. A company with better QC will give better quality parts.

Just remember RESEARCH!

Falling on My Sword...

This weekend, not one week after installing my Megan parts, I developed the most horrible shuddering on turns. Normal street driving rounded out the crappy aluminum pillowball sleeves on the front mounts and might have caused irreparable damage to my steering rack. Won't know until I replace with another manufacturer piece.

I didn't ask for anything free when I called, just some information. They wouldn't even talk to me (and I'm used to solving high-level vendor issues!)

That's it. Done. F-Them.

If anyone bought based on my original post, I am sorry and PLEASE return the sh*t immediately. You might have been lucky to get a good part, but no one should deal with a company like that.

Good grief, sorry that happened to you man. I'm starting to get scared after monitoring this thread. I've got two Megan parts on my rear suspension, seriously thinking about upgrading just in case. I really like my car and don't want anything to happen.

Yeah. Shame that I have rear toe and traction rods about to show up. Much as I like my vendor-guy, they are going back and I will only go Kazama or Tein from this point. Increase in cost vs. quality is a no-brainer. Just going to have to plan better for $ between projects.

The reason why I stared this thread, it was to ask about the quality of the product, I now Megan is a new company so there is not much feed back on their products (only the coilovers) but I got them anyways because I am on a tight budget now, so I’m going to try them and if something I just do an upgrade for some SPL (I really wanted some)...but hey we could use this thread for people tell theirs experience on products!!

Did you know that Kazama and Cusco suspension parts are literally IDENTICAL? Seriously, they do.

But, Kazama is about $100 less for almost everything Cusco charges 300 or so and up.

Kazama FTW!

MEGAN ****ING SUCKS, coilovers are only good cuz they're knock off apexi's... I got Megan tie rods and they used to keep getting loose! There's at least no hole for cotter pins. Plus they're squeeky as hell now, need to grease them. I also have Megan type 2 short shifter, knock off B&M BUT LOOKED AT IT A LITTLE LONGER AND THE SMALL PLASTIC PEICE ON THE BOTTOM IS SLIT ALL THE WAY AND IS A THINNER GRADE OF PLASTIC THAN OEM...
