Thumbs up The long awaited lowering of BlackZenki82's 240....PICS!!!

Title says it all.... i finally lowered my 240..... FOR CHEAP..... i bought some brand new no name racing seats for $50 and traded them for a set of Tein S-Tech springs with OE struts (i didn't know at the time that they were still on the struts so SCORE!!), granted they're OE but they only have 80k miles on them, compared to my front OE's that had 258k on them and the rears KYB GR-2 with god knows how many miles on em.... and the Tein springs were only used for two months and the OE struts are NOT BLOWN..... anyways, without further adieu, here are the pics!!!!!

front bumper before the drop.... 6 1/4.....

front after the drop....4 1/2

before.......

after...........

as long as the factory struts last long enough for me to get a job and to be able to afford the KYB AGX's that i want so bad, till then 80k miles struts are better than 258k miles units.... but the drop to me, is perfect... and i thought that... i'll be getting some RUCAs soon.... before i do the front alignment i need both outer tie rods (or at least the ball joints in em) and the lower ball joints.... boots are cracked, and my tension rod bushings are SHOT!!!!... so the camber will stay as is for a bit... and it doesn't really even look that bad... not near as bad as some of the camber people actually put on there cars...
someone told me the spacers were nice, but after i drop the rear tires will look a little sunk... good call... I'm debating on weather to put the 5/16" spacers on the rear to help it stick out a bit more, but I'm not sure of the safety of two spacers.... maybe i should have gone with the 1 1/4 units, i was just worried about mexiflush....screw it... i don't need it all absolutely flush... i have it the way i want it...

did you guys know that KYB is the OE supplier for the 240SX??? yupps printed right there on the struts...

well there you guys have it..... and finally.... i think I'm done with the outside..... such a beautiful stance... and for only $50.....WIN!!!!

NOTE: mind the bugs on the front of my car... i had to drive two hours to make the trade....
and hell it only took me about 2 hours to swap everything out.... WOOT WOOT

.... more pics.... lemme know what you think!!!!!

the ride is actually really nice.... i was surprised... not too hard, but definitely stiffer than stock..... handles way better.... not so low that you hit every hump or dip in the road... overall I'd say it's perfect for daily driving... and i would HIGHLY recommend the Tein S-techs.... they'd probably be even better when used with some better struts/shock... overall though, I'm extremely happy, and quite content with everything about them....
