Baffle plate

How important is the baffle plate that is behind the rotors on an s14 and if i remove it what problems will i have. thanks

you can remove the dust shield, the only thing that could happen might be a rock hitting the rotor...it won't cause problems.

if you remove it, your car will instantly explode....ok maybe not, you just have the risk of getting more water and dirt onto your rotors..
