there was a bunch of people who got together last saturday night up here in murfreesboro by special fx. it wasnt bad.

 

Hey, I got my sr up and running this weekend. I'm so happy. But I got a few ?'s. Well I installed the new struts(kyb gr-2) and tein type s springs. The fronts seem great, but the backs seem to have to much play in them. Like if I push on the back of the car I can see them move and hear them make noise. Before I left the shop I asked one of the ase mechs about it and he said it's fine. But it just don't seem right to me and some of my buddies around here. If any one knows about this please help. I have had such bad luck so far with this car. I went though 5 clutch slave cyc. before I towed it to the shop and dropped the trans to find out the jacka** that I bought the car from put the throwout bearing in wrong. And then I thought I blew the turbo but got lucky cause it was just an ic pipe. Couldn't tell it was dark had to wait till morning. But all is well for now, but I think I need a radiator now. Well I think I have complained enough about my car. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

 

check your subframe. it might have bad bushings. that can cause it to make noise

I got a ka24e motor and trans. It's missing everything else for the five speed swap. If you want it let me know. I see what it is going to cost me to tow it to the shop pull the motor and trans(or just the trans) and drive it down to Nashville for you. Do you got any goodies left form your s13? That I might be able to use?

 

hey soo are you asking me? if so i got a ka no tranny no harness you can have. just come by and get it. im not sure if there is anything wrong with it or not though.

 

the guy at easy way said it was an 80's model??? wth??? he is full of crap it is an s14... i will go by there this weekend and take pics of it... i just saw it again today while we drove by it... but i will get pics of it on saturday...and all the info i can find on it with a vin number...

 

p.s what are you needing from the s13??? i have a hatch that i have parts for... no pass fender no pass headlight no motor... everything else is there... if you need something let me know... if i can help i will... one more week and the coupe will be up and running again... then i will see what i can do about meeting up with you all somewhere...

i dont know if that reply was to me or not... but i got the whole car... we will have to do some work to get a titel for it but im sure we can do that... 89 hatch no motor has a trans... complete interior some boby damage but it is fixable... come get it and it is yours...

How about we trade internals? I like them alot more because they are shorter.


AS for as s13 parts...I actually have an extra hatch lid, 1 parts KA tranny, and a full DE tranny, but im not sure on mileage.
