Too Many Forums?

I've got a suggestion - could we redce the number of forums? I think 26 forums is a little too much to handle the number of posts here.

It's like there is a separate category for every post.

I just find it kind of a hassle to have to go to 5 forums to read 5 posts, especially since all the info is centered on the 240SX to begin with.

I don't know - I think it makes more sense to start off with fewer forums and then add or split forumsas needed.

Nw there doesn't seem to be anywhere near the traffic to justify the number of forums.

Off the bat, the Technical forums whoudl be stereo/apearance, engine, suspension. Then an off-topic forum, a general forum, and a for-sale forum. If traffic builds in one of them, then you add another to handle the traffic.

Again, I've never managed a forum like this. It seems to be less busy than freshalloy.com, and honestly, that's what I like about here.

No there is definitey some good opinions in this forums, and that is why this is really the only forum that I use. A little more traffic is good, but there are some really knowledgeable people here.

me being rude and all.....i can't belive somebody actually counted all the frekin forums!

this is the best 240 board out here though. i visit others at times and there are just way too many professors who claim to be the truth. atleast here we shed light on a lot of real topics instead of the new valve stem lights just "installed". i do notice alot off unused space though

Thanks for all the comments.

I do understand the point of too many forums but believe me, if this site were to ever pick up crazily like fresh alloy or zilvia.net, it would become very mesy if there were lots of new threads being created.

That way you would not have to scroll down the General forum like 4 pages till you found something that had to do with which injectors to use in a aftermarket turbo'd car that wants to run 15psi.

Even though the search option on the VB forums I put up are amazing compared to other discussion boards, its still would be a mess.

I can maybe create sub-forums for say the Regional Forums, so when you click on regional, it would then show you all the different regions. That would cut the total number on the main page by around 9.

Keep the feedbacks coming!
