yellow silvia grill S13

So, I got my silvia k's conversion last week and i installed it, but i noticed the center garnish (grille) is yellowed and looks gross! Anyone know how to fix this? I have heard that chrome polish can fix it, but I dont have tons of money so i dont feel like wasting even the $6 it take to buy that stuff if it wont work. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I suppose you could do the same thing that many Zenki owners do to get rid of the yellow headlights, I can't remember exactly what they used buts its posted on the forums somewhere.

yeah i am trying to find out what it is, and where to get it, i read something in import racer about how to de-smog your lenses, but it was a $60 kit, not even worth keeping the grill if i pay that much.

no, only plastic, glass chips because of rocks and other debris, have to buy new ones.

theres special polishers for glass... a lot of watch collectors have really strong polishers that remove almost anything on crystal or glass surfaces and even removes scratches and sometimes fill small chips
