rub some dirt on yer lenses, then smoke a cigarette and blow the smoke all over 'em.

Why would you want yellow headlights?

I know in North Carolina the only color light that your not allow to display on your can is blue. I've talked to a couple of cops about this. As for why I want them, well that is none of your concern. My question was not does anyone like yellow headlights it was does anyone know where i can purchase them. I'm trying to do something different with my car, and i think the yellow headlights look cool, are different and do not limit my visibility at all. I have an 89 240 and i though the headlights are one unit, meaning the lense and bulb and casing is all removed. Or is it just a simple bulb replacement. Here is what i'm looking for. http://www.sportcompactonly.com/prod...2490&c=111&l=2

If someone could help me out with this i would thank them greatly.

the s13 flip ups are all one unit, in order to use the bulbs you will have to buy some type of H4 conversion I believe it would be called, hella I believe is one company that makes it, bosch as well, then it will allow you to use regular bulbs

yea i was afraid that was the case. I have the lenses and everything they justs don't have bulbs in them. which is kinda weird. Then i went to autozone for example and they have the headlights as one unit bulb lense and everything. Then i go to some websites and for an 89 s13 they just have bulbs. So i'm a little confused on what to do in the situation. I might have a different set up or something if you have some websites you could throw me i would really appreciate it. Thanks

A stock 240 with flipups has a sealed unit. If you buy the H4 conversion, it won't come with bulbs. You'll need to buy it separately. Like S13 said, Bosch, Hella, and Rabrig, along with Pilot make H4 conversion. For these you need to buy a 9003 H4 syle bulb, which is what you are looking for. What you can do is buy some regular halogen bulbs, and just use window tint to tint the headlamps yellow, or buy yellow bulbs from online or some import store that sells bulbs.

as for the yellow lights i'm not a big fan, but you could buy those tinted bulbs, or if you want it to look even better you could get yellow tinted glass "condoms" from a lexus gs sedan's fog lights and slip them over the oem bulbs with some jb weld.

Yea I am talking about the JDM's. Actually the job that i got fired from in September just called me this morning and wants me to come back so i'm gonna have extra money to do the conversion and get the yellow lights. And I dont' give a damn if they do end up being illegal here in NC i'm keeping them *****es. I think they will look good. And nothing wrong with all caps man hey might be excited.

My headlights are illegal and a ton more annoying (from all the flickering and color changing characteristics) no probs yet in NC. I think the cops could care less here. The capsules are probably going to be your best bet from either an s13, lexus, or older acura... there are plenty out there
