RHD=retarted hand drive. and like battle said you want to deliver mail or what, in that thing.

Sorry drift, but bad idea for real.

if u are used to rhd..

then i will gladly deliver the friggin mail..
as long as i get a skyline to boot...
dont criticize...

Personally, I don't see the sense in it.

I could understand it the RHD dash was better, or there was a special gauge cluster that had the proper instruments that would only work in the rhd dash... but that's not the case.

It's a lot of work and potential rattles as far as I can tell. And I think that if I did this swap, I'd probably be regretting not putting the time in elsewhere on the car eventually.

I wish you good luck, but I still consider it a but ricey.

it kills me out here where if somebody dosent like something it's suddenly ricey.
i can see we have alot of mature openminded people out here.

i don't even remember the cat who started this thread. i wonder what happned to him. why not throw constructive suggestions out for people instead of worthless personal opinion

He is entitled to his opinion. I think it is good make good conversation.

I could see ripping the RHD apart for the gauges and that electronic HVAC controller.

People have wired the HVAC controller up - I think most of the trouble is caused by trying to adopt it to the LHD interior with the heat/ac box on the passenger's side.

To do it properly, you need a good chunk of the RHD harness. No that could be a reason to swap sides.

And I may have a little higher definition of ricey than most. Hell, I'm open minded - show me a nice end result and I'm willing to change my opinion! Don't let my opinion hold me back... with an SR, I'm sure you'd spank my KA in a heartbeat - then I'd really be in no position to call your car ricey even with a stack of winds and neon lights.

in all reality we would love to drive our 180sx's and silvias how they were originally built.

in my life it isn't cost effective. but the challange is something i'd love to tackle. right now i'll settle for my frnt clip empty in my driveway. opinions are just that but i have a hard time lettin **** like slide slide. you forget i was rehabilitated. i still reveal the bad attitude at times. no hard Feelins?

yeah its a 240 cuz we live in america. in our cars "natural" habitat we'd be drivin a 200sx or 180sx or silvia.

when does the car become a 180sx or a silvia? my guess would be just after the sr/ca swap as that is the prominent factor.

ok here is some good info..
u can get a k's club 180 for cheap in japan..
fairly decent condition
import it over here..
and drive it..
it would be cheaper than doing a sr swap and a rhd conversion..
and the best part..
its a real 180
=)
