Mounted my gauges, sharing some pics

Hey-o... was going to update my cardomain page but cardomain site is being odd

A view from the driver's side window area.

3 gauges mounted in the dash - air/fuel, voltmeter, vacuum.

How they look at night.

Tachometer mounted to the center of the gauge cluster.

This is why I mounted a tach in front of the factory tach. When I go touge (or if my eyes hurt at night) I can dim the factory gauges and have only what's important - rpm.

Drivers view of the upper set of gauges (water temp, oil pressure, oil temp)

Better view of how they're mounted to the windshield using Greddy 52mm meter holders.

Pic of the oil pressure line and oil temp sensor mounted to the factory oil pressure switch area (so you know I'm not faking the funk)...

...and the water temp sensor installed inline with the radiator hose (would have been more accurate on the lower hose, but this works fine).

The full effect from the driver's seat. I love it! (note how my stereo and the EDFC unit snuck into the photo LOL)

If you have any questions regarding installation, post them here - I'll be glad to help out right now, so I'm posting the pics here first. Anyhow, I finally got around to installing a full set of gauges in my car... here's pics:

Wow that looks good. The first pic kind of confused me though. It looked like the gauges on the dash were reflecting on the top of the window. But the scrool down feature confirmed otherwise. Good job man.

From the looks of it, he didn't have to. The gauges are below the airbag. Correct me if I'm wrong. And Raine, your site is down...when's it gonna be up again?

If you want to put them in the dash you'd have to remove the dash from the car first before cutting anything. There's some metal plates bolted in certain sections that have to be trimmed or removed. Also, you're drilling/cutting through about 3/4" of foam/plastic. A holesaw makes the job easier, but be sure to take measurements first.

The gauges do sit below the airbag position, like sr20detoofast4u said, but they barely fit without hitting the airbag itself. The airbag has a large bracket and a weird mounting area behind that part of the dash. You also have to be careful not to get in the way of your glove box closing either. It's a tricky fit, but it's possible.

Then again, I have since removed my passenger-side airbag when I changed steering wheels so clearance wasn't a problem.

Which site? the cardomain site? I checked all of them just now, they are all working

The thing I'm proud of is that I actually bought my car, and installed everything too
