you can see the colors seem to change and will flicker in the distance (modded them to do it more and the z32 lenses will really help even more)

No offense dude, but you really need to do more research before you start asking these kinds of questions. From what I've heard (unfortunatly) it's almost impossible to get a true HID conversion to work with the 240SX because of the pop-up headlights. Something about the positioning or the sealed bulbs and that lot providing no real cut-off of the HID thus blinding everything on the road.

What you could do however is use a search button and find that there are many pop-up headlight RPS13's out there with custom headlight fixtures, and if you want it tastefully done prepare to pay big bucks for custom work, or an expensive kit at that.

This is a post I found on another board with these lights, apparently they are $100 - not sure if it's a group buy, but you do have to install it yourself I believe. Anyway, try not to just buy high rated Ebay lights or something and be a total clown, nice lights can make a car look very clean if its done right - however, you seem more like the quick and easy so www.ebay.com. Go nuts.

Retro fit is good, but not all aftermarket hid systems are rebased kits. Plenty of good aftermarket kits out there just don't expect them to be under $400.

should be pretty straight forward once you get the parts. i would stick with a smaller low beam only xenon projector + ballasts and bulbs and a wiring harness of course. if you wanna know if a certain projector fits in the s13 housing just post up here and i can probly tell ya

yeah, you're out of luck with kits (esp hb3 will never find one)
i would swap out the projectors with stanley units (any of a number of projectors, tsx, rx330, sc430, s2000, or some a4 valeos. e46 bmw low beam projectors would surely fit (very small). try the forsale forum at www.hidplanet.com/forums for some projectors. you can find the bulbs and ballasts on ebay or if you have a hookup at a junkyard or dealer service department you can ****** some for nearly nothing. expect to pay under $300 if you have to buy all the parts off ebay or whatever. good luck to ya
