Not an S-Chassis! But BALLER AS HECK! My Build!

Well, ladies and gentlemen of the DAdamsDrift club, we all know that I work pretty fast. This is no exception, I’ve been working my *** off and saving up and saving up. It’s been 2 months (wow, almost 3) since I’ve lost the S14’s motor, and a rough 2 (almost 3) months it has been. But we’ve fared the weather well and have moved on! Thi project . . .is going to be AMAZING an hopefully will take me through the rest of my years of drifting!
The weapon of choice is a 1990 Infiniti M30 and the current mod list is:
-5-Speed Conversion
-18″ SportMax Wheels
-S13 JIC Coilovers
-S13 Inner and Outer Tie Rods
-S13 LCA’s
-Front and Rear Camber Plates
-Stage 2 clutch
As far as future plans, I just want to get it running properly and make sure it’ll make it to events. I’ll buy a few extra sets of wheels for it, put some tires on the wheels and rock that until I can afford a roll cage from Turbo Dave. Once he gets that going, I’ll focus my money on seat time and my savings on getting an engine. What will the engine be? I’m not sure, but . . .it will be something fun . . .I hope.
Anyway . . . As always, I’ll have tons of pics and vids of me getting some SICK angle and speed on the track (or . . .well . .trying to at least, LOL!) and when I get em, I’ll post em up here. For now enjoy the stock photos I took during her pick up.
Here’s how she’s sitting today:
I would work on it, but I REALLY don’t feel like being buried in the snow and my mom has the garage used up . . .so I’ll just stay in my apartment, warm and snuggly here in Alpharetta and head out to Douglasville when this stuff starts to melt.
Until next time

I’ll try to be brief and bring it straight to the pics and even the vid I have below.
We’ve all been introduced to the M30, so I’ll spare you the details, but check it all out and you’ll be in for some FUN!
So, it starts out like this, I pulled up to the house and snapped a few pics before I got started:
So I moved the car on up and got to work. The name of the game is getting the pressure plate tightened up so I can get the car started and make sure it runs, idles and revs okay.
Once that was up in the air, I got under the car and started tightening up the pressure plate. It’s at this point I realized why the previous owner stopped. He got a few of the bolts tightened up, got to a few others and realized it wasn’t lined up properly. I went in, aligned it and tightened it back up. It took some time and a LOT of patience but I got it going and I even tightened in a star to make sure the torque was evenly distributed.
I also managed to take some fun pics:
Here’s some interior shots:
Don’t worry about that transmission, that’s going back in soon and those tan seats are coming out.
Below is a cool picture . . .when you see it . . you’ll **** brix!
Here’s an engine bay shot . . .good stuff. I took this before I realized the battery was basically a 40 pound paper weight.
Here you can see how sometimes things just aren’t enough. This is a professional grade jump pack. 300 bucks worth of it. Wouldn’t start the car.
I was a little down and out about the whole thing. So, as any working shade-tree mechanic would do, I grabbed a beer (which I think is essential if you’re working on a car in a driveway) and got my jumper cables. I was DETERMINED to get this car started!
Yes, Atlanta, Georgia’s own SweetWater 420 Pale Ale.
This picture shows how I was about to take the battery out and charge it, but I wanted so bad to hear this car run that I decided to grab “The Shenanigan” (the Cavalier) and give the drifter a boost!
The following speaks for itself . . .the initial startup:
Yep! We got it started up! It’s amazing and sounds amazing! I can’t wait to get this car on the road and on the track! Let’s ROCK!
LATAH!

Thank you, it's rare (only 2500 coupes ever brought into the US) but it seems doable as a lot of things can be ported over from the S and Z chassis.
YES SIR! That'd be hot, but I'm thinking more practical, like an SR or even an RB20

Tell me about it, it seems that I get a car, am able to bring it out for some fun on the track then it goes bye bye . . . that's never good. Oh well, I think this one will be around, the purchase price was so low that I'm afraid to put the number out there for others to know. As it sits is how I purchased it, modifications and all. My only real mods will be a roll cage (very near future) and eventually an engine swap. I like to think that I'm realistic, get a car that will do it's thing well on the track, bring it out so it can prove it, and move forward from there. No insane builds, no money wasted on dead end leads, just solid and forward progress.
