sizo...im sil-40 from 240sxforums.com but someone had that name :P the hatch came from importfan.com and was a little over 700 shipped. awsome quality and the stock glass can be used with it.

240sil, is there a major weight difference between the stock hatch and CF hatch?

not sure what the stock hatch weighs but the cf one weighs something like 20lbs. i figure im shaving a good bit of weight with the silvia cf hood so id even it out in the back too. oh yea, it doesnt look too bad either

i just have an obsession with the weave

have you ever wighed the whole car to see how much u have droped over all?
and how is the car handing / 0-60 / 1/4 mile times with all the weight reductions you have done?

it will all be installed and the whole car will be repainted in october. would be kinda cool to see before and after weights. any idea of a place that can weigh it?

are you running the ka engine or a swap. i love your car!!!! gives me some ideas for my own project.. im looking to run an rb20 with heavy cf myself. just curious what motor you have

its still a ka24de but before the winter is up, i should have the motor done thats a secret
remember, none of the stuff is on yet. its all in boxes in my room right now (hard to walk around). it will be going in the paint booth sometime before oct. 8th. thanks for the complements.

update: ordered my bomex 399 sideskirts and bomex 006 rear lip today they should arrive next week along with my coilovers and silvia fenders. keep a look out.

i wanna see this shiot with the s13 front end.. ive never seen a black 240 with the s13 and your kit. i was thinking of going s15 myself since i have an 9k budget. but i may just invest it under the hood with my rb swap.. let me know when ya get more pics!

i think that a public dump that will weigh trucks to know how much trash they are carry should be able to tell how much the car weighs or a drag stip might have a scale

i think it would be worth a shot
i worked this summer for a consturtion company and we made runs to the dump in the work pickup truck. The boss had set up an accont with the dump were they wighed the truck empty and then when ever we brought a load over they would pull up the empty wight off there files and calculate how much was in the truck on that day and charge us by the ton to dump it
so i was thinking of doing it myself now that i am thinking of it so i will need to find a dump aroud my school here
