i have a 95 240 with H.I.D.'s. They are really white and bright.... but it still doesn't look like as cool as LEX or BMW H.I.D's...could anyone tell me where i could get some projector lenses for my year.... i don't want to do any front conversions or any body stuff..... just want to replace the stupid stock 95 headlamp housing with projector lamps.... Thanx

 

i dont think there are any projector lights the 95-96 headlights. what kind fo HID lights do you have? i just installed the H4 kit from hidking.com and they look great, identical to a lexus or BMW, but brighter

 

try clear corners, I know they have a kit for s13

 

no they have nothing, ive tried, not for the s14

 

you want the HID w/ the blue or purple tint right? or maybe even the s2000 style .. well you probably have a 5000k .if it's really white. getting a projector is not goin to add the color unless the projector is tinted w/ a color. You should look into different bulb... the 6000k and 7000k... they also have 8000k...

these number represent the different color of the light output .. your conventional filament light bulb i think around 3500k to 4500k.

Depending on the company the 6000k is purple and 7000k is blue(crystal)

 

before i had my HID kit i tried high wattage bulbs but then i had to pay $200 to get my headlight wires replaced by nissan because the high wattage bulbs fried my wires b/c they were not made for it

 

I got a lexus H.I.D kit..... i think its 5000k... i'm not looking for a purple or blue look... i just want mine clearer and brighter....the stupid 95 lense are not clear like the 97-98 one's...... if anyone know's where to get a projector head lamp housing.. or where to get a clear plastic or glass lense for my car.. please help me...

 

If you want glass lenses look into getting European S14 200sx headlights. Make sure you get the LHD version though. Don't go ordering from England.

 

i dont know where to get the parts...sorry. I dunno if u have seen this pic..he modified the headlights to fit sum BMW hids on it..and clear leanses..dunno how Looks nice to0

ACTUALLY.... they are HIDs from a 95-96 Q45(the older Q45s don't have HID). this is suppose to be one of the BIGGEST SECRETS THAT SHOULD NEVER BE REVEALED FOR A 240SX. infiniti is made by nissan, and the ironic part is that no one had ever noticed some of the infiniti cars had interchangable exterior parts with nissan parts. some 96+ altima parts are interchangable too! but who the hell wants altima parts...

Are u refering to the pic that i posted? If so..then thats awesum lol. I didnt know sum exterior parts are interchangable with sum Infin parts..

 

What the hell was that guy talking about? THEY ARE BMW PROJECTORS. He only has Q45 bulb and ballast set up.....
