My project S14
Ok here is my project S14. Anyone here in the DFW area? I'm looking to for club events and autocrossing and having a good time not really anything competive at all, just fun.
Here are a few shots of my 5-lug Slug-14: Hopefully the Slug part will be resolved as I hop up the driver/brakes/suspension and finally engine

Whoops forgot... wouldn't be a project without mods or a plan:
Currently Installed:
- 5 lug conversion.
- Tien S-Tech on the front (need rear upper arms to adjust camber before mounting rears, just decided to toss them on as I performed the 5 lug conversion and mount the strut bar).
- 18x7.5" Vault Blades, riding on 225x40 Falken Ziek 512
- C's short shifter
- Christopher Campitelli / CP Racing Strut bar
A few notes of whats currently installed:
- 5 lug conversion: If you've never done this swap its pretty simple, just make sure you borrow a harmonic balanced pulley, and a slide hammer from autozone. Use the pulley and slide hammer to work the rear lugs loose and out... or just enough to pry them of the rear main hub. Front is straight forward unbolt and replace. Take your time with this job, don't want to mess up wheel bearings or spindles.
- Tien S-Tech: Rear springs are PROGRESSIVELY wound, Front springs are LINEAR.
- 18x7.5" Vault Blades: Ghetto Faboulous I guess 18's are defintely not what should go on 240 if performance is considered.... especially an NA KA, but what the heck....
- C's short shifter: wish it were just slighter longer by 15%, its a little too short for my liking, not used to it and occasionally do not get it all the way in 1st, 3rd, or 5th... a little too much effort to my liking... oh well gotta nit pick something
- Christopher Campitelli / CP Racing Strut bar: Perfect fit, most solid strut bar for street/production 240sx. Definitely not SCCA legal since it ties the bar to firewall.... Need to drill hole in firewall and mount a bolt there with a thin nut to retain it... will do this at a later date (procrastination).
Future Upgrade considerations in almost the following order:
- 300zx brake upgrade
- Rear Adjustable upper control arms
- Front Adjustable TC rods
- KYB AGX
- Subframe Inserts/Locks
- Front Camber plate/pivot-ball-mount
- H&R hub centric spacers for current rims
- 1.5 way LSD
- 16" or 17" rims for track if there are any frequent club events in the area.
- electric fan conversion
- battery relocation
- 3" cat back
- lastly 6 cylinder single turbo and all required for it.
