i agree with yuta on the cutting springs thing...i cut the springs on my q45 with 18x10 work rims and i love it..lol..sometimes i forget i need to get coilovers but the ride quality is not bad at all.

Yeah cutting springs is classic. It makes the car awesome and it isn't that bad, despite how stupid everyone thinks it is.

that is dohboy fresh mayn...looks good...i dont know about all that cut spring stuff...i wouldnt do it...it rides horible..worse than aftermarket and it blows ur struts which makes it worse...

hahaha you have cut springs also tim. on a 240 dont cut em too much. we dont have much spring travel which means your struts will bottom out all the time.

you will have to use a spring compressor and remove the spring from the shock.
Use a hacksaw (slow as hell) or a rotary cutoff tool (fast) or something similar and cut about maybe 2-3 coils from the spring. Don't go too nuts otherwise you will kill the travel.

Or you can just ****ing cut the springs with everything still attached, thats more gangster. Check with the Bossier boys, they are poor and cuts springs (lawlz j/P, I think they have gaygans coilovers now)

buy biggs springs and call it a day(it only takes maybe a couple hrs tops to exchange springs on struts and thats w/out the right equipment!)oh and red and black=sexiness!!!

this how i did mine and this what it looked like

all i used was dremal and Map gas torch to heat the spring and seat it.

My car got hit in a parking lot so I claimed autopac and got it compleatly done for $1500 cash deal
