hid conversion housings

there are silvania reflector based hid housings, good pattern decentn output but you loose the high beam function. best way to do it is to retrofit bixenon hid projectors. plenty of people have done it in the diamond clear ebay housings on www.hidplanet.com I'm sure i have mentioned or posted pics of an example in another thread. search for "hid" in this forum

if you go the projector retrofit route expect your cost to be between $200 and $500 depending on what projectors, ballasts, or bulbs you use. It CAN be done for free if you ask around at car dealers and bodyshops. sometimes you get teh free hookup
