headlights

I own a 1991 240sx 3door and I want to replace the flip-up headlights with sunken 91 and up 300zx style lights. Does anyone know of a manufacturer who produces a kit for this project?

this has been discussed multiple times before...

EastBear makes the lights you are looking for, but they are rather expensive...

Yeah, there are several of them

There is a used kit for sale on Ebay right now for pretty cheap, but otherwise you're looking around $1K to do that, which is what has stopped many people including myself from doing so.

you could do what I saw someone with a ford probe do, the kid took the pop up headlights like ours, and painted the headlight all black except for 2 circles, so when you saw it @ first it looked like it had special headlights, but when you got closer you laughed yourself so hard you peed a little at how pathetic it was.

I was thinking about taking some rectangle fog lights and putting them where the front bumper lights are.
Leave the pop-up lights down, and wire and angle them so they are my head lights.
I know they have to be bright enough but any objections??

i dont think that is at all legal, but i am not sure. i know i had a friend use fog lights in his integra headlights, he shaved the inner one and found a round H4 foglight to fit in the bumper, and he got hassled all the time, the cops said it was not DOT legal, but again not 100% sure

I guarantee you there's some bullcrap law somewhere saying they must be between a certain height in the car, and it could look badass but I will bet it'd be more hassle than it's worth, easy way for any cop to pull you over.
