Die Trying: Take 2

Well after the demise of my flat black terror (95 Se), i decided to try something different for a change. after a few months of searcing, i picked up this 95 Se on ebay. ive only owned black cars my whole life, so at first i wasnt crazy about the color (though it has grown on me) and when i saw the interior i just had to have it.

The day i took it home i removed the stock lip and put my Greddy lip on and replaced the stock Grill with a jdm Silvia grill

besides that, i had to replace the rad, water pump, brakes, all that jazz

Now that the weather in Jersey is getting beautiful, (and drift season is here) i recently started working on it again. a few weeks ago i put my Vis carbon hood on.

Future plans:
put my recaro seats in

5-speed swap so i can drift

suspension: still doing my research on what will be best for me

Paint:
since i work at a body shop, i have the oppurtunity to paint the S14 whatever color i want. i like the badass look though, so im feeling either gunmetal or satin black

Body:
i have a new front bumper and 20mm wide extreme demension fenders that im going to put on. i need a new Greddy lip because it got busted up.

Rims: maybe 350z track rims, but im not sure just yet.

Engine:
VQ35DE
after years of research, i think the VQ will be the best choice for me. Ka-T is great and all but ive had three cars (two S14s and a 95 altima) now with that motor and i want something different

plenty more to come!

Looks nice so far. I think that Satin black cars are sick, but amazingly hard to maintain. Either of those colors would look great with that hood.

it seems everytime i get a little money saved, its gotta go into fixing things on my car. i had the tie rods and tension rods replaced recently. other than that, i found a set of 18 inch G35 rims on ebay. they really killed the wheel gap in the rear.
the next step is to get my Recaro seats in

HAHA, a five-speed swap so I can drift . . . isn't that a lyric in one of those Honda songs? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Just kidding, looks nice, that thing is coming along very well.

Hell, I'd leave it automatic for daily driving then get another for drifting if that's your strawberry flavor . . .

ha i do now. i didnt before i put the rims on. when i put the rims on, it put my car like 3 feet up in the air. coilovers are on my list. my suspension is worn out so everyone would always ask me, "is your car lowered?" i could hardly stick my foot under the lip, now my whole foot goes under there

ps nice sig haha

My neighbor has that ruby pearl color on his 96, i think i may like it a bit better than my black, but he says that about mine.... tight work on the car tho, it's looking really clean, hope to get mine to that level sometime soon...still have the stock lip? been looking for one that isn't 250, hard to find....lemme know!
