Damage repair estimate

Damage repair estimate
Hello.
How much would it cost to repair and probably replace the right rear quarter panel, rear bumper, left tail-light. Reason: quarter panel is smashed, bumper is broken in half, tail-light is cracked. I already did a search on the bumper and it costs about 140 from a OEM parts wholesale site. I would like to save $$$ and just get the original parts repaired but I fear it may be a lost cause..
thanks for ur time

i hope u means leftrear quarter panel cuz that ones pretty messed up too...try to find out if your frames strait...and the tail lights and bumper would be easy to replace...those tails go for like 30$ for one used...iono about the rear quarter panle but its gonna be expensive...i guess they could pull the dents out...and bondo it and what not...but if they get a new one theire gonna have to cut it out put the new one in and its gonna be a *****...and wasup with that fat *** gap between the hatch and the quarter panel?...looks bad...nice car...the offset on the wheels look kinda...sucky...but looks good...try to get a estimate from a body shop....

From a bodyshop..that's easily 3k. Hoping nothing is bent, frame wise. Bring it to insurance and it'll be totalled. I just got into an accident last month..and It's not half as bad as that..I got and estimate for 3k and 4k ..depending if I wanted to pull the rear bumper for perfectness.
I'm yet to fix mine..so I dunno what's the aftermath on it.

my $0.02
Replace the bumper, and tails: 300-500.
Replace the quarter panel: 1200-2200. Huge range only because it depends on the body shop you go to.
(Unfortunately that damage cannot just be pulled. Metal has been stretched far too much for a simple 'dent pull')
it's very unlikely that there's unibody damage (according to what I see in th epicture), but if there is, that's where my earlier estimate will raise a good 2k.
So, modest estimate: 2500.
Sorry about the accident; good luck.

thx for the replies actually this isnt my car I was thinking of buying it and fixing her up but I guess its gonna be dumb to fix it because I dont know if I want to invest that much money into it. Well the guy said he'd sell it to me for 1000 but still seems like a lot of money I gotta put in to fix her.

Actually, I have a left tail light and rear bumper for sale. i'll let em go for 100'ish.
If you can get him to lower the price a bit more, i'd go for it.
Cause if you're repairing the damage yourself, then it won't be expensive, Replacement quarter panels\quarter skins are NOT expensive. The labor in replacing them is.

hmm do u live around the west coast pinoy? I could probly replace the rear bumper myself but would the rear quarter panel just bolt on or would it require some cutting. I dont know at this point whether I can use the damaged one or if I'll have to take one off another fastback I talked to the owner and he told me theres a crack on the metal so I think I'd have to replace it. I'd also have to pull the frame so everything lines up straight no idea how I'm going to do all that lol. How much should I offer him if I'm going to do the work myself? 500 sound good? Its pretty clean for a 89 no rust, a/c works, runs, SE, 140k miles..so this bodywork is what pretty much kills it.
anyway I'll be going to take a look at it for myself either today or the day after

Oh wait, he's selling it for 1000 fixed? wow, then definitely go for it.
Replacing the quarter panel requires knowledge and skill. you have to cut the spot welds along the door jam, the trunk lining, the rocker panel (bottoms called the rocker right? .....lol sorry, jargons off), and then you have to grind down the top of the quarter panel, located somewhere around 2\3'rds up the c pillar and locate the spot welds for that as well. It takes time, it takes effort, but it'll save gobs of money if done on your own. As far as the frame goes, again, it doesn't look like the unibody was touched. If it is, don't buy the car. The damage to the body is well over 'totaled'.
And yes, i do live on the west coast. Seattle, Washington actually. =D
Feel free to ask anymore questions.
Btw, they're right, it might just be a good idea to wide body the car. =X
