So the autox season back in Phoenix starts this Sunday. We are actually autox'n on the road course (FIR west) so it should be mad fun.

Also, my camera mount is suppose to arrive in the mail today so hopefully I can have some in car video for everyone.

Well the event this past Sunday was awesome! We got to run on a road course at FIR so it was a much faster course than we normally run. Unfortunately the sad part is due to a timing/scoring error I got last in my class (6 of 6th in class, 44th out of 97 over all) with a time of 74.9+1. The other bummer was my camera battery went dead half way through my first run, so no video form the new camera mount, but here is a little video my girl managed to take from the paddock:

So after MUCH debate and research I have decided on a coilover for the car. I was choosing between a koni strut/gc sleeve combo, ksport gt pro's, and kw v3's.

I decided on the kw v3's for three reasons:
1. EVERYONE that has them or has tried them tell me they are a high quality product and very reliable.

2. They are the only coilover system under $2k that I could find that you can adjust compression and rebound independently.

3. The price, koni only sells inserts for the s14 so the price to get inserts installed into my stock shock housing and buy gc sleeves and camber plates was $1800. ksport gt pro's I am told are crap by everyone that autox's (only drifts seem to like those ), but the price on those was only $1000. While the kw's I manage to get a hook-up at a local shop for $1450 tax included.

Biggest bang for your buck coil over suspension.
All of them come with a 10KG spring rate front, 8 kg rear, unless specified you would like it a tad softer with a 8kg front and a 6kg rear.
Entire package cost $1000 after tax and shipping it comes to about $1280 shipped. there the only true JDM company with american support based in california, so its easy repair and maintenance. So easy infact you can order a new dampener for $100 without shipping off your suspension.

Its the only coil over to get one of the lowest drops without blowing out the coilover, it dampens very well. So it is the biggest bang for the buck coil over.
I have them on my s14 and I must say that it is the biggest bang for the buck. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I'm purchasing the adjustable rucas next best stuff to own.

Haha, I noticed that too. I dunoo Vinnie, I have been told to stay away from any coilover from china/japan by several reliable sources. Can you adjust compression and rebound independently on them? Do they have a warranty?

other then Germany, Japan makes the best suspension in the world. they make plenty of coilovers not for drifting infact most of their expensive coilovers are not for drifting and most of their cheap ones are. and when i say expensive i dont mean $2k i mean $7k-$20k coilovers.

now china... ah well you know china the land of the counterfeit you cant expect much from commies

Yes its in the description, dampening adjustment of 32 clicks stepped into 10. Rebound is always dependent of its spring rate so that is a null question.
You need to read the page link I sent you thoroughly.
As your lawyer I advise you to purchase the PBM's!!!!!
Germany and Japan make the best coil overs period!!!!!!

With replacement dampeners "shock" for $100 its the ultimate in a coilover. The housings never need replacement unless you mess it up. Its a lifetime of good track time with these coil overs. Ite a superior product I've beaten the crap out of mine for over a year and nothing has blown on them yet unlike the Megan racing coilovers.

Alot of good coilovers come out of Japan
Tein
Tanabe/KYB
PBM "powered By Max"
JIC
Dont playa hate and perpetrate, it will only limit you to good brands

You can also look into KTS and Silkroads
