Motor 2500
wiring 200
downpipe 150
bigt28 500 (a local friend)
550 injectors 500
z32 maf 120
ecu tune 600
and a few other things
i think w/ about 5k you could be seeing about 320rwhp, yes thats to the ground...
or you can always boost the ka, and see what happens

That's a pretty good gain for $5k.
Where did you buy the full caliper hardware kit, or did you piece it together?

i got a couple questions.
1. Where'd u get it at?
2. Is it simple bolt-on?
3. All together u payed only $550 for everything?
4. Those are the 4 lug or 5 lug brakes?(i couldnt see the pics)
Thanx in advance if they are 5 lug then im gonna buy it too.

pieced it together from many places
just keep this in mind......if you buy 300ZX brake calipers, they will not come with the hardware for the brake pads....which includes:
4 - Pad Pins ($9.32)
2 - Pad Pin Clips ($11.98)
2 - Spring Clips ($7.06)
1 - Front Brake Hardware Kit ($50.81) includes....brake pad shims, grease, etc....
So that's:
$80 brake hardware (http://www.courtesyparts.com/)
$53 SS brake lines (www.splparts.com)
$60 300ZX EBC Greenstuff Pads (www.tirerack.com)
(~$240w/tax minus $120 core) 300ZX calipers (Autozone)
(~$130 to $200) (300ZX rotors, keep in mind you'll have to get a machine shop redrill) or get KVR xdrilled rotors already drilled for 4lug from www.pdm-racing.com ~$270 shipped)
2. Is it simple bolt-on?
yes, simple bolt-on; EXCEPT, you'll have to cut off your old dust shield to accommodate the larger rotors, and I had to use a dremel to grind down the caliper so that my 17x7 40mm offset wheels would clear
3. All together u payed only $550 for everything?
after getting my core money ($130) back, yes, around that ......you should be able to do it for about $570
4. Those are the 4 lug or 5 lug brakes?
4 lug, i had to have my 300ZX rotors redrilled by a machine shop for the 4x114.3 pattern
Why do you want 5-lugs, there really is no advantage to 5-lugs except a different selection of wheels, if you did a 5-lug conversion, you'll have to buy spindles and a bunch of other stuff.

here's a better shot:

17x7 215/40/17 (front) +40 offset
17x7 225/45/17 (rear) +40 offset
with an offset this high, i had to use a dremel to shave off the "NISSAN" lettering and some of the caliper so it would clear the spokes.

this is gonna sound realy stupid cause ive asked this b4 but... my wheels are the 5 bold one off an 95 se , so all i gotta do is upgrade calipers and buy new brakes lines right??? nothing else (or do i have to get the pins and all that stuff too)

also, due to a previous "300ZX brakes" thread being closed, i'll post here:
If someone wanted to convert their 89-98 240sx brakes, i would highly suggest purchasing a complete set from Heavythrottle ($599) the only thing extra they may need is the shim kit, and I stress "may" because the pads may or may not squell or shift.
i suggest purchasing from Heavythrottle b/c you don't have to source all the parts and wait for them to ship. alot less legwork, to me "time is money", so the $20-$100 saved can be negated by inconvenience.

Hey, I'm in the middle of a 300zx swap myself and have run into the problem of locating all the pins and clips i need. I've gone through Nissan and Autozone and cannot seem to get my hands on the Hardware Kit or the clips. I was wondering if anyone knows another place to find these parts other than Courtesy Nissan. I need to get these as soon as possible since my car is already in the middle of this conversion haha. Thanks in advance.

those parts are dealer parts. i don't see why they (dealer) wouldn't have it. i haven't tried autozone but they may have it.....i changed the brake pads on my dads 99 Tacoma, and it had what seemed like the same 4 piston setup; (2) pad pins/ (1) pad pin clip/ (1) spring clip............good luck.

nice set up, looks clean too, but out of curiousity...when you say redrilled you mean you got the 4 holes drilled in with the 5 holes for the 5 lug still there as well, so now you have 9 holes correct? now i don't mean for this to seem like i'm flaming, but i personally think that's a dumb move... the lessens the integrity of the rotor itself, and isn't a safe thing to do. also i too reccomend doing the master cylinder and rear upgrade, yes i read and understand where you are coming from as far as price goes, but the way i see it is that a car doesn't have to do anything but stop. like i said before i don't mean for what i said to come off wrong, it's just my two cents.
