FET quick release

Purchased a FET quick release last Thursday, recieved it in the mail yesterday and installed it. Went on easy and works like a charm and its only about an inch thick, will post pics later

dont want to sounds completely dumb but what is it? is it a steering whel hub?

It's a piece that goes between the hub and your steering wheel that allows you to take off your wheel easily, for security reasons (my reason for buying it) or other reasons
