looking for a rust free 5spd S14 for $500-$1000 (project car). Prefer a Zenki w/ no mods. e-mail offers. I've been interested in cars as far as TX, so your location doesn't matter much, as long as you're on the eastern half of the US.

too bad you weren't offering up any more money for an S14 project car... I have a 95 sitting in my garage with the redtop sr in it... missing a few things to get it running, but it would be a great project. It was my daily driver until i started the sr swap... now I just drive my motorcycle. I really want to finish my project, but ya know... if someone had the right amount of money.. i might let it go...

That one? I saw it, but I'm not interested in a $5,500 car, I want a $500-$1000 one like the post says... I like the whole process of building the car as much as driving it. That was your project car, I wanna make mine my way... I'm not a big fan of the redtop SR (post flames below), it doesn't hold much boost. Yours is built, I read that, but I'm swapping in a S15 SR20. Now if you wanted to keep the engine & tranny and sell the car as a roller for the price range I was looking at, that'll work, but right now I'm on a '97 in that range, so if $500-$1000 won't work, that's fine, I'll work with what I've got, and if that falls through, I'll sit back and wait for the right car again... I'm in no rush...

to be honest...ive never seen a s14 240 for under 1k. unless its got a wrecked/totaled title

hmm... yup, don't see anything about me caring if it's got a salvage title or not either :P I'm looking for a project... something that will need fixed... I do bodywork, can do any other kind of work (incl. framework), and I retail parts... so yeah, something wrecked is preferable... and I'm motor swapping, so I guess the engine & tranny isn't too important either... so a damaged roller works for me... or a body... wheels & tires will be replaced...
