F.S. 240sx 1 piece custom driveshaft $249
lowest price anywhere!!! I can get 1 piece driveshaft made for 89-94 240sx s13 with standard transmission. All I would need is for you to send me your 2 piece driveshaft which will be cut and a new tube spliced in between the two ends. These shafts are steel and balanced and for the money, its the best way you can go. weights about 14lbs. The drive shaft shop sells with for $329 plus shipping. The price will be $249 per shaft which will include return shipping. You pay the shipping of your 2 piece shaft to me and I will pay the shipping of the 1 piece shaft back to you. It will take me about 3 days for me 2 get them made.
I will get a picture posted as soon as I can so you can see the actual product. I can possibly get them made for the s14's as well. I will have to calculate some dimensions first but I will let you know about them when i get them figured out. Let me know if you have any questions

The benefits are less rotating mass, about 3 or 4 pounds lighter then the heavy factory 2 piece shaft. The 1 piece is much stronger and will give you a quicker throttle response. With the 2 piece shaft, there is a hanger bearing, when you mash the gas, the dirveshaft will move up and down in this bearing causing loss of power, where as the 1 piece, the bearing is not needed and can be removed.

I could be wrong here, but it sounds like it's time to apply for vendorship... It's also worth noting that the Driveshaft Shop doesn't require a core, and they aren't just ghettoing up your existing shaft, they're actually building you a new one. Not to mention that if you're going to spend hundreds of dollars you might as well go aluminum.

there is not much difference from steel to aluminum except a few pounds and the torsional twist. Its a quality product and thought I'd make the option avaliable to others, nothing more. Its just an alternative. No this is not a 100% new shaft, it uses your existing U-joints and tubing is just added in between. yeah you could spend $500 for the aluminum shaft but are the performance gains really worth the extra cost? That just depends on the person.
