I posted this thread up a couple of days ago and now its gone. I don't really understand why it was deleted, and instead of getting rid of it right away, the mods could have posted what was wrong.
BUT, I will try again and maybe they can tell me what needs to be fixed.

Hey guys, I recently aquired a 1985 Corolla GT-S hatchback. The car has ok paint, but could probably use a new paint job. It has a very straight body but does have dings, and looks like there was a minor rub on the front driver's side fender so the bumper isn't completely lined up. Other than that it seems that it has not been in any accidents.

When I got the car it had many parts from the engine bay in the trunk and no motor with the transmission removed. I don't know too much about the car because the guy I bought it form was moving and needed to bail out of the project quickly. What I think happened is the car had a redtop (I found the valve covers in the trunk) and guessing he blew the motor. Thanks to a friend I got a new bluetop 4age with about 80k miles on it and according to my friend ran perfectly. Unfortunaly I haven't been able to test it out. As far as interior, it is in ok shape aswell. There will need to be work done, and it needs to be cleaned even though I have put some hours into this already.

The car seems ready to have the motor dropped in with a trans, but with my lack of knowlege of these cars I would rather work on a Nissan. Everything seems to be included with the car but I'm not positive and havent had time to check it out. Also, the transmission that I got with the motor was stollen at my shop so with my lack of funds, I can't afford to keep this car naymore.

Anyways, I would like to find someone in Socal (or if you dont mind shipping this car) that would trade a running 5 speed 240 for it.
