Whats up? Im new and just wanted to introduce myself
Hey guys, Im 15 and just got my learners a little over a month ago. My dad and i just went half on black '91 240SX Fastback with 132,000 miles in good condition. I am planning on going as much performance as I can at first with my very limited budget of about 600 beans until I get a job in the next few weeks. Do any of you know anything that will help improve the performance or power with these kind of funds? Since this is my first car and I am unexperienced I am asking you guys what you think would be best? I appreciate all the help I can get.

wayne exauhst is spelled exhaust haha but thats cool, but like bottombunk said make sure it runs solid, then dump the money. But my friend has aways said, if your car cant handle the hp why give it more hp. So id go suspension first, thats my vote.

Thanks, yeah my Dad is going to drive to work for a couple weeks, about 50 miles either way, to make sure it drives fine. Yeah i want to lower it to a more aggressive stance for looks and handling but its not like I am going to take it to the track anytime soon. I am planning on going something like half and half, some style and performance. But I would rather not buy cheap or used products when I can spend a little more and do it right. It will take longer with the money but I dont want to half-*** anything on it. Thanks!

Well with that mind set your all ready well ahead of some of the others here in the tuning game. Used stuff can be find depending on what part it is (seats are an example) however some things should always be replaced with brand new stuff (Radiator).
Make sure to buy a guide (Chiltons, Haynes, etc...) to your car!! It's well worth the 15-18 bucks to have a comprehensive guide to your car.
I also recommend that the first thing that you plan on spending your money on is a suspension. I'm going to sound like a broken record here but draining all your fluids is a cheap way to insure that your vehicle will last you a long time. Oil, Brakes, Clutch, Transmission (use Gl-4 only!!), Coolant, Differential Fluid, Power Steering, Windshield Washer Fluid lol. I don't think I'm forgetting anything here so use that as a pretty comprehensive list of fluids to work.
Oh and of course don't forget Headlight fluid and Muffler Bearning Grease.
