Theres a couple different engines that are common swaps for 240's. One of the most common is the SR20DET,one of the cheapest swaps is the CA18DET, you could also do any one of the RB series swaps(RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT) the easiest would be the RB20, with the RB25 you would have to get a custom driveshaft and the RB26 is the hardest of the swaps, most the times you will either have to make your car RHD or upgrade it to a single turbo

Yo can put a 300zx engine, its called a VQ30. Ive never seen one done but i know u can do one, it would take sum modification. Its heavy though i will warn u, if u were ganna do a engine swap and dont want that much power then do sum research on the CA18DET, or the SR20DET. there is alot of info out on the internet

You should consider going RB25DET, I think it would fit better than a 300zx engine would, and you can get a **** load of power out of it with the right mods

You mean VG, the VQ is the new Z, Maxima, Altima, Pathfinder, and G35 engine. Yeah I know, it's easy to mix up. Anyway I've seen a VG30ET installed in a S13, something about DOHC VG's aren't able to fit with out extensive modifications due to width added with the heads..... RB is a MUCH better choice though.

thx im with stupid, i always mix em up haha, VQ..VG. yea ur lookign for a VG30 motor. First of all...ONLY get a Front clip...never get a motor set because u will be looking around for the parts that u need. Which leads to more money...

Yea, what Hyjynx said, also be carefuly where you send your money out too. I wouldnt trust anyone off of ebay enough to send them that much money, you also have to watch out for some companies that claim they can get them for you. Try to find out as much about the place you are ordering the clip from before you decide to send them your money. Look at previous posts, even check out other boards and talk to the members who have purchased clips in the past.
