I just bought my 97 red 240 se 5spd about a month ago. I was trying to spruce up a 91 Toyota celica before with a 3sgte but I ended up getting screwed on the motor. Bought it from ebay and instead of being a 2nd gen 3sgte it turned out to be a 1st gen. That caused a lot of problems so I said to hell with it.

Got to looking around and saw a 97 240 and I fell in love with that pissed off look in the front end and the endless power options so here I am.

My car already has some kind of suspension kit on it already, not sure what it is but I'm gonna try to find out soon, plus it has the nology plug wires, not really sure how responsive the 240's are stock but I'm pretty sure not quite this responsive, they seem to be pretty sweet. Its got some TSW 17" 6 spokes with some light cosmetic damage. I'm gonna have them re-powder coated soon.

I'm trying to decide on which motor swap I want to go with though. I like the torqey-ness of the KA24 so that makes me think I would like the RB20 but the aftermarket support for the SR20 looks mighty appealing. Plus I've heard that you can cram the RB26's in there too. That might be nice although I dont how expensive that is yet.

Anyway, here I am. Lets party.
