i have been reading that you can throw a few bolt ons on the ka and have just as much power as the sr. also, the car is an automatic it it tricky to swap it over to a 5 speed?

KA's don't take to mods as well as the SR..but, i suppose you might be a stock SR..and yes you can swap the 5 speed...i've never done it myself..ask around, i'm sure somebody here has done it

I found the KA to respond quite well, especially when boost is added to the equation . . . but the SR20 (from what I've heard) also responds quite well to modification, but it should . . . it's boosted.

They are lying out their asses too. I'm a honda freak and unless they have quite a bit of work or have the right combo of parts, they can't even come close.

lol the 240 can take the 1.5 non vtec with it's eyes closed. My stock automatic convertible beats my friends 2005 non vtec civic.

Damn near anyting you want to know about your KA, or the 240 in general, can be answered by using the search button. You'll save yourself a lot of headache with it!

A few bolt ons isn't going to make a KA perform like an SR, not even a stock SR. A 1.5 non vtec cannot be faster than an SR. Where the hell do you get your information from? The cool kid gang that hangs out in the parking lot during lunch break? Numbers alone should tell you at least how these engines might stand up next to each other. Perhaps common sense too, but common sense is an aquired taste.

My 93 civic hatch went 14.60's with a d15b7. You just gotta know what you're doing.

I figured he meant mostly stock for stock since all that comes up are bolt ons, that SR has the benefit of the doubt unless it was a total POS to begin with. Don't you worry, I know how fast a honda can be with enough work.

-LOL. I've beaten (by about a car) an '03 Civic Si, 5-spd., with an intake/exhaust. Also taken out an automatic '06 Civic Si with some bolt on's.
-TORQUE. this word dosen't exist in the honda world.
