Smile New and need help badly too

Hello,
Well I've been on this forum for awhile looking and researching, learned a lot from this forum, now its my turn to sign up and be a newb.

I found a 1990 240sx fastback that has a 95 dohc motor swap. Selling for a $550 sounds good right. But the lady said car is not running guessing its the "wiring harness" that needs to be remapped and it needs a down pipe my dad said that the wiring would cost a lot of money since we're not mechanics. should we still go for it? or not? please help

heres the link to the car if i didn't add enough info on the car

i'd like to know more about the halt on the swap. assuming the wiring is the reason i'd say go for it. the wiring within the engine bay seems to be complete, but if not the price still seem good for the shell considering it looks to be in good shape and rust free from what i can see.

That car isnt clean at all. It had some kind of roller paint job or something that looks pretty bad. They got paint on the tail lights and the sides look blotchy. Plus the whole right side of the car behind the rear wheel is missing. Theres rust all over it too. If you dont have any faith in your mechanical ability I would keep looking.

01. red engine bay white paint. done by hand. may have been in a wreck.
02. different engine. that doesn't even run...

buy it after REALLY checking it out. looks to see if the lines match up and are straight. look for frame damage.

also be ready to put some time and perhaps some $ to making it reliable.

I have a feeling that if you looked under the car the floorboards would be gone from rust. I mean, there are CHUNKS of the car missing. Dont buy that car. It's next stop is the junkyard.

the engine is not the only factor to consider. i wouldn't spend a dime on a worthless frame.
