New member, new car

Im planning on buying a 1991 240SX (5 spd, sunroof). Basically, all i know is that is a 5 spd, and has a sunroof, and that its red. I havent gone to look at the car yet, but the guy is only gonna charge me $2K for the car, cuz he's a buddy of mine. Is there anything i really need to look at to tell if its a good car or not? I know mileage is a big factor, and the only other major thing ive seen (i looked at other places online), is that if it has A/C, the refrigerant needs to be changed to the new kind. Also, what kinda stock power numbers can i look foward to? Thank you very much.
